Description
Echosonographer
Location: Great Falls, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Assist in transesophageal echocardiography procedures.
- Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results.
- Consult with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard exams and determine technical factors.
- Participate in call rotation with a minimum of 10 days per month, including holiday coverage.
- Receive direction from providers and department managers/supervisors.
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Certification by ARDMS or CCI.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential.
Additional Information
- Call rotation required (minimum 10 days/month including holidays).
