Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

  • Location: Florence, South Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
  • On-call: Yes, 2 twelve-hour shifts in a 6-week period
  • Floating: Not required
  • First-time travelers: Accepted
  • Local candidates: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • AWHONN Beginner
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • EFM
  • NRP
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWHONN Advanced
  • STABLE

Additional Notes

  • Epic experience is required
  • Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval, depending on unit needs
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
  • The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Travelers should be prepared for hurricane-season emergency response assignments if needed
