Description
Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in Pasadena, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Operating Room unit
- 10-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
Preferred Experience
- Orthopedics
- General surgery
- Urology
- Gynecology
- ENT
- Vascular
- Pediatric experience
Schedule / On-Call
- On-call required, including weekly call and 1 weekend per month
Unit Details
- Day shift staffing includes RN, CST, first assist, PCT, anesthesia tech, supervisor, and director roles
- Night shift is on-call only
- Performs open, laparoscopic, and robotic general cases
- Performs robotic orthopedics
- Performs total knees and hips, trauma orthopedic cases, laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent interventions

- BSN is preferred
- Floating: none
- Scrub color: cobalt blue
