Registered Nurse (RN) — Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location

Grinnell, Iowa

Contract

13 weeks
Days

Setting

ICU: 5 beds, plus 3 stepdown beds
May float between ICU, stepdown, and Med Surg units
Med Surg unit: 23 beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Travel experience within the previous 24 months
Experience with Epic
Med Surg experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC
Driver's License

Preferred

NIHSS certificate
Professional reference/reference check from within the last 24 months

Additional Details

Must be comfortable caring for 2–5 patients
Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Orientation is 16 hours
