Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Charleston, West Virginia.
• 13-week contract.
• Night shift: 3x12, 7p–7a.
• Weekdays with every other weekend required.
• 36 hours guaranteed.
• Orientation is held every other week on Thursday.
• Float within scope if needed.

Unit Details

• 32-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Patient mix includes cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted if experience requirements are met.
• Blocked schedule requests are not guaranteed.
• 100-mile radius rule applies; 75–99 miles may be sent for facility approval.
• RTO must be included on the application/profile and discussed with the manager during interview.
• Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after their last day worked as permanent staff.
• Covid vaccine is not required.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required during flu season.
• Parking is free for travelers.
