Operating Room Circulating RN

Overview

• Travel assignment in Jasper, Indiana
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Primary location: DMMC Surgery
• Shift: 4x10s, 8:30a-7p; may occasionally need 6:30a-5:30p
• No float requirement
• On call required: 8 times in a 6-week period, with a 30-minute callback
• Weekend/holiday requirement: up to 4 days on a weekend call; holiday coverage based on need
• No local candidates within a 40-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience
• Charting experience with Epic

Unit Details

• 6 ORs
• Average 350-400 cases per month
• Patient population includes outpatient and inpatient patients of all ages and all specialties
• Strong experience with total joints, Davinci, urology, gyn, and some spine cases such as OLIF/TLIF ACDF, Microdisc, and arthroscopy
• Supportive staff

• Scrubs provided
• 3 call-ins can result in termination
• COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change
• GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week
• 36-hour cancellation clause within a 13-week contract
