Overview

Travel assignment in Jasper, Indiana
Primary location: DMMC Surgery
Unit information: 6 ORs, average 350-400 cases per month

Schedule

Days
Preference is 10 hour shifts 0830-1900
9 hour shift option: 0930-1900, 36 hours/week
8 hour shift option: 1030-1900, 40 hours/week
Guaranteed hours: 40
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks

Call / Weekend / Holiday

On call / call back required
30 minutes call back
Weekend required

Float Scope

No float requirement

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
2 years of experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Associate-level degree or a certificate
Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures
Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
Experience with orthospine surgery
Experience with complex general surgery
Experience with urology surgery
Experience with gynecology (GYN) surgery
Experience with ENT surgery

Preferred

Strong in total joints, Davinci, spine, general, Urology, GYN, ortho, and some ENT
Hard worker
Resilient and manages change well
Social candidates

Additional Notes

No local candidates within a 40 mile radius
Scrubs provided
3 call-ins can result in termination
Covid-19 vaccine not required, subject to change
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed
36 hour cancellation clause within a 13 week contract
