Description
RN First Assist (CVOR)
Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Unit Details
- Unit: CV Operating Room
- Beds/Rooms: 12 OR (2 CVOR)
- Level of Care: Level 2 Trauma Center
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: 4 RNs per OR suite (2 circulators, 1 scrub RN, 1 RNFA)
- OR Schedule: Staffed 24/7
- Floating: No floating
- Equipment: OR equipment
- Patient Experience: Hourly updates to family members
- Dress Code: Hospital provides scrubs
Procedures Performed
- CABG
- Valve replacement
- Minimally invasive valve replacement
- Dissections
- Thoracic procedures
- Vascular procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR First Assist experience (2 years)
- CVOR First Assist experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- OR First Assist Certification
