Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Anchorage, Alaska
- Start date: ASAP
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
- First timers accepted
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- On-call required: 1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)
- Weekend requirement: on call, plus approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts/week
- May float within scope to EP or IR
- Locals not accepted; candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with possible call-off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2 weeks
- Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer; only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment

Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through.
