Unit Details

• Specialty: OR
• Floor: First
• Beds/Rooms: 6 ORs, 1 endo suite
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: 70% adult, 28% geriatric, 2% pediatric
• Patient Mix: 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
• Equipment: New Olympus laparoscopic/endo equipment, processors and monitors; Steris beds; Hana table
• EHR: MEDHOST and CQI

Schedule

• Weekend hours are for on-call only.
• Call is shared evenly with other OR RNs. Call usually starts at 1700.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification
• Operating Room (OR) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Endoscopy experience
• Orthopedics experience
• OB/GYN experience

Float Scope

• May float to PACU for a second RN.

Dress Code

• Scrubs are provided.
• Visible tattoos are acceptable if they fit professional standards.
• Pornographic, foul-language, or inappropriate imagery on personal clothing is not acceptable.
