Location: Metairie, Louisiana Employment Type: Travel/Contract Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 7:00 to 15:00 Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification
• LSRT certification (temporary LSRT accepted; issued within 3 to 5 days after proof of ARRT is received)
• IV insertion skills (must be able to start IVs)
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Work Requirements

• Rotating call on nights and weekends
• Weekend work required
• Holiday work required
• Scrubs: Hunter Green

Pre-Start Requirements

Within 30 days of start:

• Background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years (updated annually)
• HHS/OIG and EPLS/GSA/SAM checks
• State license verification
• Drug test (amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, methadone, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine)
• Completed pending background check attestation form, if applicable

Within 3 months of start:

• TB test (QuantiFERON-Gold/T-SPOT or two-step skin test) or, if previously positive, a past positive test with chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire
• TB questionnaire, required for all candidates and updated annually

Within 12 months of start:

• Competency exam (minimum score of 80%), updated annually
• Core Part I, II, and III competencies, updated annually
• Skills checklist, updated annually

Immunizations and health documents:

• Tdap within 10 years
• Two MMR vaccines or positive titers for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Two varicella vaccines or positive titer
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination (declination due within 12 months of start)
• Flu vaccination or documentation, required October 1 to March 31 (for starts on or after October 1, documentation due by October 31). Medical and religious exemptions and declinations accepted on facility forms. Unvaccinated candidates must wear a mask at all times.
