Location: Conroe, Texas Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

Unit: Respiratory Department, 3rd Floor
Beds: 332
Staff: 38 total
- Day shift: 1 lead and 5 Respiratory Therapists (core)
- Night shift: 1 lead and 5 Respiratory Therapists (core)
Patient ratio: 1:56
Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, Vest
Float scope: ICU/CCU, ER, Floors, NICU
Procedures: Assisting with intubations and bronchs, ventilator management
Weekends and on call: Yes
Dress code: Grey scrubs or attire

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Texas
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
NBRC certification
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NRP certification
PALS certification
Experience working with NICU patients, including Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
