RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Employment Type: Travel Location: Brooksville, Florida Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Assignment Details

• Unit: Respiratory
• Location: Floor 5S, South Tower
• Beds: 350 (the unit details also list 411)
• Staffing: 28 staff. Day shift has 6 staff; night shift has 5.
• Schedule: Work every other weekend and holidays, in rotation with hospital employees.
• Facility Status: Level 2 NICU, expected to become a Level 3 NICU later this year. Not a trauma facility, but has a very busy ED.
• Typical Procedures: ED coverage, ICU coverage, and floor therapy
• Equipment: PB 840/980, V60, Airvo 2, PocketPEP, MCG Bedside Spirometry, and RapidPoint 500e blood gas analyzers
• Skill Set Most Recruited: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• NBRC certification
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
• Experience working with NICU patients (candidates with NICU experience will be considered first)
