CVOR Tech

Overview

Location: Abilene, Texas
Specialty: Surgical Services
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8-hour days, 6:30 to 15:00
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Call and weekends: Call required. Occasional weekend coverage.
Float scope: May float to the main OR.

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
NCCT or NBSTSA

Onboarding Notes

Parking is available during orientation and after orientation at no fee.
Facility forms and acknowledgements must be reviewed and signed before start, including a Traveler Identification Form, Employee Handbook, and confidentiality, compliance, and computer security agreements.
Medication/pharmacology and competency exams are required as applicable by profession, with a passing score on the Angoff standard.
A fit test with a 3M 1860 or 1860S mask is required, with an onsite option available. The mask must be updated annually.
