Description
CST/ORT OR
Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Location: Miami, Florida Employment Type: Travel
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- On call: 2 weekends per month and 2 weekdays per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), covering only specified facilities in the system
- On-call and scheduled assignments are pending surgeon approval of the candidate's ability to perform independently

- Location: 2nd floor, Main Hospital building
- Beds: 1
- Staff: 3 (OR RN, OR ST (CVOR))
- Shifts: Day 0700-1930; Night 1930-0700
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: CVOR
- Coverage: Coverage for 3 hospitals at times
Typical Procedures
CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, ECMO, pacemakers, trach, MAZE
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience
