Description

Respiratory Therapy (RRT)

Overview

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation. During holidays when the unit is closed, set hours are not guaranteed.
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
On Call/Call Back: N/A
Float Requirement: Will float to inpatient units and facilities
Candidate Restriction: 40-mile radius rule. No local candidates.

Facility and Unit

Setting: Approx. 280-bed acute care hospital with medical/surgical units, ICU, and stepdown units

Required Qualifications

Certifications (attached upon submittal): AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, Indiana License, NBRC certification
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in the specialty
Required Skillset: Medical/surgical respiratory therapy, ICU respiratory therapy, stepdown respiratory therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial blood gases

Preferred Qualifications

Charting: Electronic charting experience (highly preferred)
