Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Loveland, Colorado Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift and Schedule

• Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 to 7:00), on various days of the week
• 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Weekend work required per unit needs
• On-call not required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Unit and Role Details

• 24-bed inpatient medical unit caring for patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Travelers gain experience across multiple specialties within an interdisciplinary team
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5, which may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units
• May float to a sister facility per facility needs
• First-time travelers accepted, provided experience requirements are met

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Med Surg experience (2 years)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Not Required

• ACLS (not required for Med-Surg or Tele)
• Chemotherapy certification (not listed for this role)

Onboarding

• Employee data sheet completed within 24 hours of signing
• Facility-specific training modules completed within the first two weeks of the assignment
