Respiratory Therapy (RRT) Travel Assignment

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Employment Type: Travel

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

Beds: 430
Staff: 25
Shifts: Day shift 3/4 staff; Night shift 3 staff
Patient Ratio: Normal floor assignment, 20-25 treatments per round
Equipment: Oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, blood gas machines

Nebulizers
BIPAP/CPAP
Ventilators
Arterial blood gases

Requirements

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Virginia
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
NBRC credential
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current NRP certification
Current PALS certification

Schedule

Rotating weekends
On call preferable: one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks

Work Environment

Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
Best fit: Candidates who like a fast-paced environment
