RRT - Respiratory Therapy
Employment Type: Travel Location: Largo, Florida Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36
Unit Details
- Unit: Respiratory Therapy
- Unit Location: Largo, 1st floor, Main hospital building
- Beds: 290
- Staffing: 21 total staff
- Day shift: 6 therapists and a supervisor
- Night shift: 4 therapists
- Equipment: Servo and 840
- Scrub Color (RT): Gray
- Parking: Park in the garage on the third and fourth floors (AM and PM shifts)
- Float Scope: The West campus psych/rehab department is a float unit.
Schedule
- Works every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Scheduled according to facility policy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Florida
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1 year of experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NBRC
- NRP
- PALS
- Ventilator management
Typical Procedures
- Neb treatments
- ABGs from A-lines and sticks
- Assisting in intubation, codes, and rapid responses
