Description
General OR RN
Location: Amarillo, Texas Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 to 17:30 Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a rotating day off during the week and required call coverage Candidate Restrictions: 50-mile radius rule, no local candidates Unit Acceptance: Accepts first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- At least 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute
- Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
- Familiarity with General surgery procedures
- Familiarity with GYN surgery procedures
- Familiarity with Ortho surgery procedures
- Urology experience
- Experience with Epic
Other Important Information
- Onsite drug screen during orientation, including marijuana. Only one attempt is allowed, and a failed screen results in cancellation.
