Sleep Technologist / Polysomnographer – Hospital-Based Neurodiagnostics Travel Contract in Columbus, Ohio

Travel Sleep Tech opportunity in Columbus, OH (43205) for an experienced Sleep Technologist or Polysomnographer. This 13-week hospital-based neurodiagnostics contract offers overnight sleep study support, strong weekly pay, and the chance to join a collaborative healthcare team within a respected healthcare organization serving the Columbus community.

• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43205
• Primary Coverage: Outpatient and hospital-based sleep lab locations within the local service area
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Schedule: Night shift
• Shift Hours: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour evenings
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Primary Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Work Environment: On-site hospital sleep lab / clinical diagnostic setting

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Sleep Tech, Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographer, or in a related sleep diagnostics role
• Experience in a hospital, clinical sleep lab, or neurodiagnostics environment preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of polysomnography setup, sleep study monitoring, and accurate documentation practices
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for overnight sleep studies and clearly explain testing procedures in a professional manner
• Set up, monitor, and document polysomnographic testing according to established clinical protocols
• Observe patients throughout the study and respond appropriately to changes in condition or equipment needs
• Ensure accurate data collection, scoring support, and thorough clinical documentation
• Troubleshoot sleep study monitoring equipment and maintain proper function during testing
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and neurodiagnostic staff to support quality diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
