This position offers a 40-hour work week with 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients, develop treatment plans in accordance with each patient's needs, goals and physician direction. This role requires the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective community reintegration. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document all medical records accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders.
• Supervise and mentor students during their clinical experiences.
• Engage in professional development activities and maintain licensure and certifications.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active and applicable state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

Must maintain an active state license in good standing and complete all required continuing education.
