Night Shift, 19:00 - 07:30, guaranteed 36 hours per week with weekend hours of 23.

Job Description

Join the Medical-Surgical unit at Starr Regional Medical Center, which serves adults and geriatrics. The unit currently accommodates a maximum patient load of 18, with plans to expand to 24. The care setting is equipped with essential medical equipment including bladder scanners and glucometers, and operates Medhost for electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients with various diagnoses including pneumonia, CVA, chest pain, and post-surgical issues.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• BLS certification required prior to start date.
• All clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry before beginning their assignment.
