4-10 hour shifts, 6-8 shifts call per month, with one weekend per month.
Job Description
The Cath Lab provides comprehensive care with a focus on cardiovascular procedures, including left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, coronary interventions, and more. The facility is equipped with four Cath Lab rooms and a holding area. This role requires direct patient care in a high-volume environment, working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the Cath Lab, ensuring superior patient outcomes.
- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
- Utilize appropriate documentation systems, including Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience
Must have Cath Lab experience, with skills in circulating, sedation, and procedures such as atherectomy, IVUS, and thrombectomy preferred. RCIS certification is a plus.
Certifications/Licensure
- State RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
