7-10 hour days with rotating call shifts, including 1-2 days a week and 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Endoscopy will focus on caring for patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures. This position requires prior experience in a GI lab or operating room, as well as familiarity with all endoscopy procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopies. The role is set in a dynamic surgical environment, providing opportunities for professional growth while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation and recovery for endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and aftercare.
• Maintain a sterile environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Required Experience

• Prior endoscopy experience, including all procedures (EGD, colon, ERCP, bronch).
• Experience in a hospital or surgery center setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
