Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients. This role involves close monitoring of patients with various medical conditions and implementing treatment plans as prescribed by medical professionals. You will work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and the care process.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Required Experience
Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar nursing environment is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
Current RN license in the state of North Carolina is required.
