Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs for community re-engagement, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols and organizational compliance measures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to establish treatment plans.
• Document care clearly, concisely, and accurately in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in student training programs, providing supervision and feedback.
• Develop a personal professional growth plan through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards as outlined in relevant codes of conduct.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives through feedback and follow-up.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Certifications/Licensure

Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia, with compliance to continuing education requirements.
