Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Two patients per hour, providing 45 minutes or more of care per session, with initial evaluations and safety patients receiving a full hour of one-on-one care.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on individual needs, goals, and physician directions. The role includes ensuring effective return to community activities through functional treatment programs. Additionally, the Physical Therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, coworkers, and students, as well as participates in program development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop and adjust treatment plans and goals.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and timely, complying with all relevant guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and evaluation.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
