Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends or on-call shifts required.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work in a clinic attached to Memorial Hospital, primarily providing outpatient rehabilitation services. The clinic serves a diverse patient population, including those from the nearby nursing home, assisted living facility, and surrounding communities. The PTA will have access to a small fitness center and a variety of treatment options, including cupping, dry needling, and blood flow restriction therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Utilize various treatment modalities and techniques, including but not limited to cupping and dry needling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population across various age groups and diagnoses.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Colorado is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
