Job Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to treat patients through a variety of therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include assisting with exercises, massage, gait and balance training, and documenting patients' progress while reporting treatment results to the physical therapist.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients using prescribed therapeutic interventions.
- Assist with exercises, massage, gait and balance training.
- Record patients' progress and report findings to the supervising physical therapist.
Required Experience
- 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas or Compact license.
