Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to a mix of acute care and socially complex patients in a Medical-Surgical setting. This role involves caring for patients who may not have a medical necessity to be hospitalized and are awaiting placement. The position requires proficient documentation in EPIC and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient information accurately in EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Provide patient education and support to families.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Demonstrated experience working with complex patient populations.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license verification (Nursys).
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
