ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in York, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
12-hour shifts available: 0700-1930, 0900-2130, 1100-2330. On-call required during one weekday and four weekends of call within a 13-week assignment.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will serve as a vital member of the surgical team, responsible for managing the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role emphasizes maintaining patient safety and ensuring high-quality care through effective communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the surgical suite and verify patient information and surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
- Monitor patient status and safety throughout the surgical procedure.
- Manage documentation accurately during the surgical process.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with various team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Experience as a circulating nurse in the operating room is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Compliance with PA Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 regulations.
