Job Description
The Cardiac Catheterization Scrub Tech will assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. The unit is designed for specialized procedures, utilizing advanced equipment such as INNOVA and MacLab, and operates with a patient ratio of 1:1 in a dedicated lab setup.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Utilize documentation systems including Meditech and MacLab.
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of 2 RNs and 2 techs.
Required Experience
- Experience as a scrub tech in cardiac catheterization.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS certification required.
