Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and goals, as well as physician direction. They will be responsible for delegating tasks and directing therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring effective return to community activities. The role includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers, as well as performing other professional duties associated with patient care and program delivery while adhering to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on discharge goals.
• Document all medical records accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a supportive learning environment and completing evaluations.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and apply learned information to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to discipline-specific practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of services.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license where work will be performed.

Certifications/Licensure

• Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona.
