Job Description
The Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs and physician directives. The role includes delegating and directing therapy services while ensuring a functional treatment program that allows for an effective return to community activities. The Physical Therapist will also serve as an educator to patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document all medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in student education program as assigned.
- Maintain professional growth through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
- Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
- Foster a safe and effective work environment focused on patient and employee safety.
Required Experience
- One year of outpatient physical therapy experience required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active and applicable state license.
Certifications/Licensure
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
