40 hours per week with varying schedules, including two evenings until 7 PM required.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to the individual needs and goals in alignment with physician direction. The role encompasses designing functional treatment programs that enable patients to safely return to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, and students, maintains professional and ethical standards, and ensures compliance with organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning for developing treatment plans focused on patient progress.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, including goal writing and functional assessments.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs, offering guidance and supervision to students in training.
• Create a personalized professional development plan and actively pursue continuous education.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience is highly desired.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid state licensure in Physical Therapy, in good standing.
• Completion of state-mandated continuing education requirements.
