3x12 Night shifts with weekend coverage every other weekend, and floating to other like units or facilities as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry will provide care for adult patients with a range of conditions, including chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, syncope, and more. The RN will be involved in special procedures such as cardiac and telemetry monitoring, pulse oximetry, TEE, negative pressure isolation (AFB), and dialysis, in accordance with Prisma Health policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and monitor adult patients in a telemetry setting.
• Administer level 3 intravenous infusions and IV push medications.
• Manage cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis as needed.
• Document patient care in the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a cardiac telemetry specialty is required.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are necessary.
