Schedule/Shift

Four days a week, 10-hour shifts from 0730 to 1800, with one required Saturday shift per month.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist in our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, you will provide high-quality therapeutic evaluations and treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses, including joint replacements, strokes (CVA), fractures, neurological conditions, pain management, and vestibular issues. You will have support from experienced Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in the clinic, and charting will be conducted using Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide 45-minute treatment sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Occupational and Speech Therapists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in Cerner.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist. Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in West Virginia or provide proof of a pending license.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
• West Virginia PT license required (pending licenses accepted).
