This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Day shift from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. No weekend or on-call requirements.
Job Description
The Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, providing care to adults and geriatric patients. The primary focus will be on assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions, utilizing the Epic charting system for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatments.
- Maintain detailed patient records in the Epic system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current South Carolina Physical Therapist License or Multi-State Compact License required at the start of the contract.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLSE) certification required.
