This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
M-F, Day Shift, 8-hour shifts, plus every 4th weekend.
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will work in an acute rehabilitation setting, focusing on delivering quality patient care and maximizing recovery potential. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in the EMR (Cerner).
- Possibly float to med-surg/acute care units as needed.
Required Experience
Preferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing facility settings.
Certifications/Licensure
A current state license to practice Occupational Therapy is required.
