ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Radiation Oncology (Day Shift) in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology will provide comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with cancer. This role requires experience in IV and port access, with a focus on administering radiation therapy and managing associated procedures.

Responsibilities

Administer radiation therapy and other treatments to patients.
Monitor patient progress and manage side effects.
Document patient care accurately within the EHR system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care options.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required.
Previous experience in Radiation Oncology preferred.
Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current New York State Nursing License required at time of submission.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
