ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Rotating Day shifts: 2x8 (06:45-15:15) and 2x12 (06:45-19:15). On-call shifts are required with a 60-minute response time.

Job Description

The Operating Room unit supports 17 different surgical services and handles a high case volume of 50-60 cases per day. The patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics, serving complex cases including neuro, ortho/spine, and robotics. Strong circulating experience is required and scrubbing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for a variety of surgical cases including neuro, ortho/spine, and general surgery.
• Ensure patient safety and assist in maintaining a sterile environment.
• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor patients' recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate an effective workflow.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
• Previous charge or lead RN experience preferred.
• Strong circulating experience in high acuity cases.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact License is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and CNOR preferred.
