ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Neuro (Night Shift) in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts, 18:45 - 07:15, with a commitment of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and holiday work is required.

Job Description

This position is on a Neuro Unit, where nurses will provide care for general medicine patients with a focus on neurological conditions. The unit utilizes EPIC for documentation and Pyxis for medication management. A commitment to assist in emergency situations, including storm and hurricane response, may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Neuro Unit.
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals and neurological status.
• Administer medications and manage IVs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize appropriate infection control and isolation precautions.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with experience in a Neuro unit preferred.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
