This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call is required and will be split evenly among the group, varying per the 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Operating Room, assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with the surgical team, monitoring patient vitals, and administering medications as needed. The RN will also uphold hospital protocols and maintain patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and manage patient care as required.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the Operating Room.
- Document care and maintain accurate patient records.
Required Experience
Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license and demonstrate experience working in an OR setting. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
A valid RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are preferred.
