This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Radiologic Technologists will work Monday to Friday for 5 x 8 hours, with shifts starting at either 07:00, 07:30, or 08:00. Weekend call is required on a rotating schedule from post-shift Friday until shift start on the following Monday.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position involves working with a high volume of nephrology patients and various procedures including drainage tubes, central lines, and dialysis catheters. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Cerner for charting and have experience in accessing and managing ports as well as performing interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology imaging procedures, including angiography, stent placements, and thrombolysis.
• Ensure maintenance of sterile technique and proper handling of imaging equipment.
• Assist in patient preparation and care during procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and equipment management.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• ACLS and ARRT certification required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ARRT certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Active PA or Compact license required at submission.
