This position offers a Day Shift, with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a 32-bed unit providing care in a telemetry-medical/surgical environment. Responsibilities include performing lab draws, IV insertions, foley insertions, and administering IV fluids and medications including antibiotics. The nurse will also prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures, utilizing the Expanse EMR system for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab draws and IV insertions.
• Administer IV fluids and medications.
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Perform foley catheter insertions.
• Document patient care using Expanse EMR.
• Participate in daily huddles and bedside shift reports.
• Complete required daily charting.

Required Experience

• Must have experience with Expanse, including admissions and discharges.
• At least one year of acute care experience in a medical/surgical telemetry or stepdown unit.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
