7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The Neuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU) primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients who are stable post-stroke, those who have undergone neuro surgeries, and telemetry patients in a telemetry and medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients in the NPCU, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
- Monitor telemetry patients and respond to urgent medical needs as they arise.
- Document patient care using the Cerner electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a progressive care or telemetry setting.
Certifications/Licensure
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
