7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in a 20-bed Step Down Neuro-Surgical unit, providing specialized care to neuro and stroke patients. The role includes using Cerner EHR for documentation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a patient ratio of 5:1 and will ensure comprehensive care for adult patients recovering from neurosurgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro and stroke patients.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs using masimovital sign machines.
- Document patient information accurately in Cerner EHR.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust patient care plans.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a neuro or surgical unit. Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
