This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a midday shift of 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing MRI equipment. This role involves obtaining high-quality images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment functionality. The technologist will also assist in educating patients regarding MRI procedures and care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans as per physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to MRI technology.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare staff.

Required Experience

• Graduation from an accredited MRI Technology program.
• Current MRI Technologist license/certification as required by the state.
• Previous experience in MRI imaging preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent.
• Current state license to practice MRI technology.
