Schedule/Shift
Shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a requirement of 4 weekend shifts per month. Self-scheduling is available.
Job Description
The Emergency Department at Medical City Plano has 38 beds, including trauma bays, a burn room, a psych room, and a vertical treatment area. The department provides advanced care for patients facing a wide array of emergencies, boasting certifications in chest pain, comprehensive stroke, and Level 1 trauma. The unit uses Meditech as its electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and document care effectively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in trauma care and emergency response efforts as needed.
Required Experience
- Active Texas RN licensure or a compact license eligible.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS.
Certifications/Licensure
- Texas RN license or compact license eligible.
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS certifications required.
- Preferred certification: ENPC.
